What happens in the story
Bently the goat is the forest’s doctor, and a rockslide has cut him off from the clinic where sick animals are waiting for their medicine. Kitty and Dino open a tunnel through the rubble, sort his jumbled hot-and-cold remedies, and float the jars across on big leaf boats so they arrive in time. Old Turtle’s cough eases by sunset, and a grateful Bently sends everyone home with sweet herb tea. A quiet lesson in teamwork and in caring for others when they’re unwell.
