The true story behind it
My son was four, and he had five puzzles from the same set, same box style, different color panel on each lid. One afternoon he dumped all five into one pile and just sat there, stuck. I watched for a minute, then gave him one idea: sort by color palette first. Five little piles, one per puzzle, and from there we put them back together one at a time. Milo gets into a version of that same mess. He mixes the wrong fruit, and things go sideways fast. The fix is the one we used on the living room floor: stop, sort it back to its simplest pieces, and go from there.
What happens in the story
Milo loves an experiment, and one of them goes further than he meant it to. He mixes fruit that shouldn’t be mixed, and the whole jungle starts drifting up into the sky. Kitty and Dino don’t scold him for it. They just get to work, sorting out what went wrong one step at a time, until the jungle settles back where it belongs. A quiet, funny story about the moment right after a big mistake, the part where you stop panicking and start fixing.
